Who is John?
Hi, I’m John.
I build websites from the ground up—taking ideas, rough sketches, or half-formed concepts and turning them into real, working products people love to use.
I don’t just make things “look good.” I design how a site works, how it feels to navigate, and how it holds up once real people start using it. That means I’m involved from the very first decision all the way through launch—and beyond.
I specialize in working with founders and small teams who know what they want to say, but need help shaping how it’s expressed online. I focus on clarity, flow, and function—so the site feels intuitive, intentional, and true to the brand.
What does John do?
I take complex ideas and make them simple, usable, and durable.
In practice, this often means:
- Translating business goals into clear, usable website features
- Designing interfaces that feel natural instead of overwhelming
- Building systems that are easy to update, extend, and maintain
- Refining existing sites that feel off, cluttered, or incomplete
I work end-to-end: planning, building, refining, and shipping. If something needs to be thought through, I’ll think it through. If something feels almost right, I’ll keep adjusting until it is.
Why do I need John?
Because you get someone who cares about the whole system, not just their piece of it.
Working with me means:
- Fewer hand-offs
- Less translation between ideas and execution
- Faster feedback loops
- A calmer, more intentional build process
I’m not just executing tasks—I’m actively looking for better ways to solve the problem in front of us. I spot gaps early, think ahead about trade-offs, and make decisions with long-term impact in mind.
In many cases, I function like a small product and engineering team rolled into one: planning, building, refining, and maintaining—all with a high level of attention to detail.
More context about John
I’m drawn to projects where design, technology, and real-world constraints intersect. I enjoy working with people who care about craft, clarity, and momentum—and I take pride in making things that last.
If you’re building something that matters and want a thoughtful, reliable partner to help bring it to life, I’m very much at home in that process.
